Wrinkle relaxers

Wrinkle relaxants (botulinum toxin) is a natural protein that relaxes the muscles. This type of injectable is usually used to treat wrinkles caused by increased muscle tension. The relaxation of the muscle ensures that the skin becomes somewhat smoother and tighter, which also softens the wrinkles. The effect of wrinkle relaxants is temporary and lasts approximately between three and five months. Wrinkle relaxants are also used against excessive perspiration; this is because it blocks the functioning of the sweat glands.

The treatment areas for wrinkle relaxers are: frown lines, forehead lines, crow's feet, lines next to nose, gingival smile, lines around mouth, chin pits, chewing muscles (teeth grinding), platysma bands. Treatment areas for excessive sweating are: armpits, palms of hands and soles of feet.
